Belkin signs licensing agreement with Lego, iPhone cases inbound
Accessory manufacturer Belkin today announced a multi-year licensing partnership with The Lego Group to create accessories for mobile devices. Starting this spring, Belkin will launch a variety of smartphone cases incorporating Belkin's existing product design with Lego bricks for a "buildable" case. The initial product line will focus on iOS devices, with plans to expand to other platforms over the course of the partnership. No information has been provided on pricing or release date.

Hopper with Sling HD DVR ships nationwide
Dish Network has revealed the US-wide consumer availability of its CES "Best of Show" Hopper with Sling HD DVR. The device with newly-added Sling technology allows consumers to watch live and recorded home television content on Internet-connected tablets, smartphones and PCs at no additional charge. It can also download DVR content to mobile devices, in addition to the 500 hours of HD recording capability extant in the device. The Hopper system requires a whole-home DVR fee of $10 per month plus $7 per month for each remote "Joey" receiver.
